Introduction This article details the design and curation process underpinning creation of City Symphony, an augmented reality (AR) music experience overlaying Brisbane City, Australia. presents Symphony as autoethnographic case study how large-scale AR placemaking projects are crafted across multiple organisations so that public art with goals can be better understood evaluated. Transparency workflows is important because artists decide to represent places people, often explicit intention shaping perception those people towards such urban renewal, social transformation, or tourism. Stakeholder priorities impact on orientation these associated workflows. Bain Landau have expressed concern about artist voices potentially displacing community in activities (405-408). By exposing Symphony’s planning, creation, iterative technical development cycles for scholarly consideration, I hope energise conversation around what possible ethical within workflow experiences real places. Imaging the Neural Symphony

Since the start of the new millennium, a method called two-photon microscopy has allowed scientists to peer farther into the brain than ever before. Our author, one of the pioneers in the development of this new technology, writes that "directly observing the dynamics of neural networks in an intact brain has become one of the holy grails of brain research." His article describes the advances t...

Complement: an unfinished symphony.

THE AUTHORS [Weiss et al. (10)] addressed the role of complement in hypertensive mice infused with ANG II and with NaCl in the drinking water. The complement focus was on C5aR1 cells that also expressed green fluorescent protein (GFP). The authors found GFP cells in interstitial areas of both heart and kidneys. These infiltrating cells were CD45 , indicating their origin from the bone marrow. Q...

Symphony # 9 by Gustav Mahler

The recording of Gustav Mahler’s Ninth Symphony you are going to hear today was made during performance in Vienna on January 16, 1938, almost exactly thirty years ago. Bruno Walter conducted the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The recording was published on 78 rpm disks and thus filled 20 sides. Numerous rather intricate procedures of splicing were used by Carl Volkers in his attempt to provide ...
